Atticus (aka Addie) - See My Video!'s Story

Meet Atticus aka Addie! This handsome tabby is seeking a calmer home that will understand he takes a bit to warm up to new people, but once he does Atticus is incredibly sweet. A huge fan of catnip toys and treats, Atticus enjoys playing, watching nature shows out the window, and lounging in the sun. He has successfully lived with a female feline friend as well as a cat-savvy dog. Atticus even played with his hound buddy from time-to-time.

Atticus is on a prescription diet and will need to continue receiving the urinary support whether Hills Science Diet C/D or Royal Canin SO to avoid crystals forming in his bladder which could lead to a urinary blockage. For newer cat owners, a urinary blockage in male felines is a medical emergency! If left untreated, the affected male cat can pass away.

Other than needing a special diet, Atticus is a healthy guy! Granted, he could stand to lose weight, which in turn will help reduce the likelihood of other illnesses. When it comes to food, Atticus LOVES gravy! He will not eat pate and is not a huge fan of chicken.

As Addie is more timid and frightened by sudden loud noises, he is not a good candidate for a home with younger children, rowdy dogs, or a household that tends to be busy with tons of visitors. With a quieter home and patient parent, Atticus will thrive and prove he is an amazing feline companion!

Interested in adopting Addie?
