Hi! I am Atticus. I am a darker orange, domestic shorthaired kitty. I have an old, soulful, wise personality that is calm, collected and observant. I came to the shelter with my brother, Saske. Saske has found a home however I am still waiting. My shelter family does not understand why as I am very sweet and love to be pet. <br/><br/>I am neutered, and I am up to date on my vaccines - distemper and rabies. I have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested and I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes a quieter and calmer home. I tolerate other kitties without issue. I tend to hang out by myself or with 1-2 other cats. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do ok in a home with kids who understand boundaries. I am shy at first and may run away. I am just scared but I do come out of my shell eventually.<br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and good ol' pets and love. Once I warm up, I enjoy being pet and loved on. I also like to be in front of a window catching warm sun rays.<br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
