Meet Atticus – Our Gentle Gray Tuxedo Explorer<br/>Atticus is a sweet gray tuxedo boy with a bit of a mysterious past. He arrived through one of our rescue partners, and while we’re still learning his quirks, one thing is already clear: he is a gentle soul with a lot of love to give.<br/>Atticus can be shy when you first meet him, but with a patient, understanding adopter, he blossoms into a confident, affectionate companion. He just needs someone willing to give him the time and space to settle in and show his true personality.<br/>Atticus is positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means his adopter should be mindful of his health and provide regular veterinary care. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy, healthy lives—and Atticus is no exception. He can even live with other friendly cats.<br/>Once he trusts you, Atticus becomes incredibly sweet. He might just be your perfect match.<br/><br/>This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 14 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff.<br/><br/>Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
