What is Heartland Humane Society’s adoption process?

Our cats and kittens are available for $65. All of our felines have been leukemia tested and are up to date on vaccinations and rabies. Cats 4 months or older have been spayed/neutered. Our dogs are available for $150. All of our dogs have been heartworm tested and are up to date on vaccinations and rabies. Puppies 5 months or older have been spayed/neutered. All animals not fixed will require a spay/neuter refundable deposit of $150. Check out all of our animals available for adoption at www.heartlandhumanesociety.net . Our felines are located at our shelter at 3400 E Hwy 50 in Yankton, SD. Some of our dogs are in foster care so prior appointment to meet them is a must. Call 605.664.4244 for more information.
