Atlantis-Adoption Pending Domestic Long Hair & Norwegian Forest Cat Mix Arlington, VA

Equal parts snuggly and silly, Atlantis brings lots of smiles thoughout the day. Atlantis broke out of a No.Carolina shelter and arrived in our care in mid-January. This super handsome boy is estimated to be 2 yrs old. We believe Atlantis is a Nebelung/Norweigan Forest mix. Nebelungs are related to the Russian Blue, but with longer, silkier hair, and is in fact sometimes called the Long-haired Russian Blue. He loves to play tag with a gentle tap on your ankles and then turning and running away. He is a helpful work assistant, carefully picking out just the right pen and then settling in on the floor deep in thought. At 5pm he is quick to wake up, sit on the computer and remind you the work day is over and he is ready for dinner!
In the morning Atlantis spends time watching birds and squirrels. At night, he enjoys sitting on the couch and watching TV. He is a bit of a seat stealer as when you get up to refresh your wine glass you will likely find that he has grabbed your spot and most of the couch as well. He is always willing to give a sweet headbutt and purr away your troubles and throw in a silly pose just to make sure he leaves you smiling.

He will flop at your feet, rolling around until you pet him. You will find him in bed with you at night. He loves to snuggle against or between your legs and lay nearby. Toys don't stand a chance as Atlantis a rough and tumble player. He likes all the attention for himself and does not care for other cats. He tolerates the dog. Meet him in Arlington, VA Updated 3/5/23
