Astrid's Story
Astrid is a Domestic Long Hair (DLH)-mix, female, DOB:

Astrid was found as a stray in a local football field shortly before one of the last games of the season. It was clear she had at least one litter of kittens in the past, but they were weaned some time ago. Fortunately she wasn't pregnant and was soon spayed, treated for fleas, Giardia, Coccidia, and Roundworm while in our care.

Astrid is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle. She is comfortable with other compatible cats and kittens, and she’ll be comfortable in the presence of well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs after being given some adjustment time to warm-up and settle into her new surroundings. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable animals, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.

Astrid currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet her by appointment with pre-approved adoption application. To start the adoption process, complete and submit Monroe SPCA’s adoption application linked above.

All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption.

Completed applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe Street, Dundee, MI.

For more information message us on Facebook or email info@monroespca.org.
