Astola's Story
Astola
Female Buff DLH
DOB: 03/22/2023
Adoption Fee: Sponsored

Astola was a stray that who showed up at someone's house. The lady was feeding her but realized Astola was gaining a bit of weight. She brought her to us because she knew she couldn't properly care for her. Five days later, she gave birth to 5 precious kittens. She got to spend some time with one of our fosters while her kittens were nursing. Astola is a very sweet and loving girl. She ended up getting adopted with one of her kittens, Kiawah. Now they are both back at the shelter at no fault of their own, they can't help someone in the house became allergic to cats. Now they are both looking for someone to give them the best, loving home.

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention.

WE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday-Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times.

We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required.

We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.

All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted.
