Aspen's Story

Meet Aspen

On a bustling September day in 2025, AFL received a call about a little cat who had been stuck in a tree for an astonishing three days! This brave feline found himself perched in the courtyard of Lansdowne Police Station, right at the busy intersection of Lansdowne Ave and Baltimore Pike.

Thanks to the quick response of our team, he was safely rescued and immediately brought into foster care. With his gentle demeanor and already neutered status, it was clear that this sweet guy was once loved by someone. We searched high and low for his owners, but no one came forward to claim him.

In his foster home, Aspen has shown just how affectionate he can be, showering everyone with love and joy. He thrives on attention and simply adores snuggling up with his human friends. Happy and healthy, he’s ready to find his forever home.

This little guy enjoys spending time in the catio, where he loves to watch the birds fluttering by. Don’t let his petite size fool you—he’s a big bundle of love! We have yet to hear him hiss at anyone—be it other cats, the vet, or new faces—making him a truly good-natured companion.

If you’re looking for a loving friend to fill your home with warmth and a gentle spirit, Aspen might just be the purrfect match for you!

To learn more about Aspen and other pets available for adoption, please visit www.animalfriendsoflansdowne.org

To submit an adoption application, please utilize the link below.
https://animalfriendsoflansdowne.org/adoption-application

Animal Friends of Lansdowne is a non-profit, all-volunteer community rescue, now in their 21st year.
