Ashley's Story

This lovely black-and-white kitty is Ashley! Ashley was adopted from us as a kitten back in 2021, and she's recently found her way back to us. While she can be a little standoffish when you first meet, she warms up pretty quickly and loves getting attention from her person. She is also a big fan of the catio and can often be found lounging on a cat tree, soaking up the summer sunshine. When she's not busy napping, she enjoys exploring her space and keeping an eye out for someone who might be ready to give her some attention.
Ashley doesn't seem to mind having feline roommates for the most part, but she definitely appreciates having her own space. She can occasionally become a little territorial, so she may do best with a cat who is respectful of her boundaries. We don't know how Ashley feels about dogs, as she hasn't been around them to our knowledge. With a slow, patient introduction, she may be able to share her home with a dog.
Ashley is also believed to have a flea allergy, so keeping her on monthly flea and tick prevention is especially important to help prevent allergic reactions. If you're looking for a sweet, independent kitty who enjoys sunshine, cozy cat trees, exploring, and eventually asking her favorite person for attention, Ashley may be your girl! You can meet her at the Humane Society of Delaware County today!
