Meet Asher! <br/><br/>Estimated at around 3 years old, Asher came into our care back in February after being found by a good Samaritan in rough condition. He had a significant wound on his back—believed to be some type of burn—and had clearly been struggling on his own. We may never know exactly what he went through, but one thing was clear from the very beginning— despite everything, Asher is incredibly sweet.<br/><br/>From the moment he was rescued, Asher showed nothing but affection. Now fully healed and healthy, he’s left his past behind and is soaking up the comfort and care of indoor life. He absolutely thrives on human attention—he loves being pet, enjoys being brushed and will happily stay close by your side. He’s also a big fan of mealtime and never turns down a good meal 😋. <br/><br/>Asher can coexist with other cats, though he may be a bit grumbly at first. He just needs a proper introduction period and time to adjust, like many cats do.<br/><br/>Everyone who meets Asher falls in love with him—he truly is a special boy who deserves a home where he can continue to feel safe, loved and cared for. <br/><br/>After everything he’s been through, he finally has the chance to live the life he’s always deserved.<br/><br/>Asher is fully vetted— neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies, FVRCP with booster, FeLV with booster), triple tested negative, fecal tested negative, microchipped and on monthly flea and tick prevention.<br/><br/>If you’re interested in meeting Asher, please send us a message or fill out an adoption application!
