DOB: 06/06/2022<br/>Breed: Persian Mix<br/><br/>Ashby came into care with his fur so matted he could hardly move, but after a much-needed haircut, he’s finally able to stretch, walk, and play comfortably again.<br/><br/> He’s still unsure about people and prefers to watch from the safety of his hiding spots, like the cat tree cubby or a play tunnel. While he’s not yet seeking affection, he doesn’t react negatively to gentle touch, and his curiosity sometimes gets the better of him.<br/><br/> Ashby is a quiet, thoughtful cat who is slowly learning that people can be safe. <br/><br/>He would do best in a patient home with another friendly feline to show him the ropes. Ashby came into care with his fur so matted he could hardly move, but after a much-needed haircut, he’s finally able to stretch, walk, and play comfortably again.
