She was only 1.3 pounds, so they guessed her to be about 5 weeks old. Arya is now 11 weeks old as of June 16th, 2026. She is living in a foster home.<br/><br/>Arya is a sweet girl and very beautiful. She is also an active calico that loves to play with a tabby cat friend and he's extremely good with her. It is important for her to have a kitten or cat friend to help her learn how to be a cat and to have friendship and someone to play with when the humans are not home. She cannot be an only cat and must have a cat or kitten friend. (Her tabby friend is named Bam Bam and he will go online soon if you would like to adopt both of them)<br/><br/>She has her first distemper shots. She will need a rabies vaccine and also needs to be spayed before adoption, and we will get both of those done when she is big enough/old enough.<br/><br/>You can apply now, get approved, meet her, adopt her, and we will hold her for you until the rest of her vetting is done and then you can take her home.<br/><br/>Arya's adoption fee is $95.00.<br/><br/>WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. If you have assault, domestic abuse, or drug charges please do not apply. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.<br/>Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $350 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office
