Artie's Story

Playful, handsome, and sweet, Artie is just about everything you'd want in a feline companion.

Artie is an instant pet. The moment he came to his foster home he explored the room he was in and immediately settled in. He never hid or has to be coaxed out of anywhere. He loves to play and has a lot of energy. He does not get into things as much as other cats, but he is still very curious.

He loves having his belly all the way up to his chin scratched. He likes head pets and has spent many nights on his foster parents' bed sleeping between them. But Artie can also keep company with himself, hanging out in his own space and just watching the world go by.

Artie rides in a carrier very well, and has been an excellent patient at the vet. He eats dry food fine, but he LOVES wet food. He also has a taste for bread, so be careful what you leave out!

Artie has tested positive for FIV, but he doesn't let that get him down. He's as healthy as can be and intends to stay that way, and he can live with both FIV+ and FIV- cats.
