Arthur's Story

Returned for Being “Too Needy”… or Just Too Loving?

Meet Arthur — a 2–3 year old neutered male who has one major flaw… he loves people too much.

Arthur originally showed up at one of our feral colonies, but it didn’t take long to realize he didn’t belong outside. From the moment we brought him in, he made it very clear: “Hi, I live here now. Please pet me immediately.”

He’s the kind of cat who greets everyone, follows you around, and makes sure you never feel alone. At a meet and greet, he charmed an entire household—making rounds to each person for attention like the social butterfly he is. But… they passed because he was “too attention seeking.”

Recently, Arthur was adopted, and we were hopeful but unfortunately, he has been returned because he cries for attention when left alone. (That little Siamese voice isn’t shy!) Without other pets or people around during the day, Arthur gets lonely—and he lets you know it.

But here’s the truth:
• Arthur isn’t “too needy”
• He’s deeply social, affectionate, and people-oriented
• He just needs the right home

Arthur’s ideal home:

1. A family environment (kids would be amazing!)
2. Plenty of interaction, playtime, and companionship
3. Other pets are a plus! He does great with cats and is currently thriving in a cat cafe setting. Dogs are unknown, but his easygoing nature suggests he’ll likely do well with them.

Arthur isn’t meant to be alone all day in a quiet home. He’s meant to be in the middle of the action—where he can love, play, chat, and be part of a family. If you’ve ever wanted a cat who acts more like a best friend, Arthur is your guy.

Apply to adopt Arthur and give this incredibly loving boy the home he’s been waiting for.

Location: Pawsitive Cat Cafe on East Ave, Rochester

Adopt:
https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowrescue/adoption-application
