He moves through life at his own thoughtful pace, often preferring to observe before joining in. Arthur feels most comfortable when people approach him gently, with calm voices and slow movements, giving him the time and space he needs to build trust.<br/><br/>As Arthur grows more comfortable, his sweet and sensitive nature continues to shine. In foster care, he has been making steady progress each week and is slowly becoming more playful. Recently, he even showed interest in a laser pointer and has started to become a bit more vocal about what he wants — especially when he’s hoping for extra attention or cuddles.<br/><br/>Arthur has also begun to seek out affection more often and can be surprisingly demanding when it comes to cuddle time. He especially enjoys gentle butt scratches and will happily lean into your hand when he’s ready for affection. Morning brushing has quickly become one of his favorite parts of the day, and he absolutely loves the quiet routine and attention that comes with it.<br/><br/>Once Arthur chooses his person, he enjoys staying close by and quietly sharing space with them. His bond may take a little time to build, but it is incredibly special and rewarding.<br/><br/>Arthur would do best in a calm, patient home with someone who understands that trust takes time and is happy to let him move at his own pace. With kindness, consistency, and love, Arthur will continue to blossom into a deeply loyal and affectionate companion.<br/><br/>Medical note: Arthur has a grade 3 heart murmur. He has been assessed by a specialist with an echocardiogram and X-rays, and it was determined that he does not currently require any medication.
