These lap cats, Poseidon, Apollo and Artemis, are 3 strikingly beautiful kitties who are about a year old. They were rescued from a shelter in NC and are looking for a home (they are not bonded and can certainly be adopted out separately). Poseidon has a tiny little white mark on his chest but other than that it is quite difficult to tell them all apart, thankfully they're microchipped so we can keep them straight! They are 3 of the friendliest kitties we have had the pleasure of fostering. They are immediately all over you, wanting to be pet and held. They follow us around everywhere! They are wonderful with all the other cats and kittens in their foster home, and they love dogs and kids too! They're the perfect mix of playful and snuggly lap cats. They are happiest when they're on someone's lap and will cuddle for as long as you'll let them! We just adore them, and we know you will too! If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *<br/><br/>DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:<br/>Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
