ARLO's Story
Adoption Fee: $135 Includes: Spay/Neuter, Rabies, Microchip, FVRCP, Pyrantel, Age: 5 years old Weight: 15.5 lbs Dogs: Arlo would do best in a home without dogs as he is most comfortable and relaxed with people. Cats: Arlo may do okay with other cats if given slow proper introductions Kids: Arlo would do best with grown children/adults who can understand giving space and respecting boundaries. Litter Box Trained: Arlo is litter box trained and keeps a clean kennel. Energy Level: (Low) Arlo is the kind of cat who makes a house feel instantly more like home. Once a little shy, he’s grown into a warm, friendly companion who genuinely enjoys being around people. He’ll greet you with a soft purr and curious eyes, often weaving between your legs as if to say hello—and maybe to remind you it’s mealtime.

Food is, without question, one of Arlo’s greatest loves. The crinkle of a treat bag or the sound of a can opening will have him trotting over in seconds, tail held high with excitement. He’s enthusiastic but polite, always hopeful for an extra bite and never far from the kitchen when something tasty is happening! If you are interested in meeting and adopting or have any questions please call the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter at 816-969-1640 to schedule an appointment. (Mon - Fri 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Weekends 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
