Arlo's Story

Arlo was born into a very large outdoor colony. In her time living outside Arlo became a mom and she even helped take care of all the other kitties in her colony. She’s a good mommy and loves to care of the cats around her. Arlos babies have already found their forever homes and she is ready to find hers. In her time in foster Arlo has been learning to trust and love humans. She prefers the companionship of females but will thrive the best in a quite calm household. She would be very happy to go to a home with other cats (especially if she had some brothers to play with). She loves to spend her time cuddling and playing with cats, she really comes out of her shell! When you get to watch Arlo play with other cats you feel such joy knowing that she gets to finally be a free and playful after being a momma. Arlo enjoys sitting in the window sill sunbathing and she loves cat towers or beds. When Arlo has a space where she feels safe she loves to be pet and will start purring up a storm! The quickest way to Arlo’s heart is with wet treats and by calling her a pretty girl! While she may take some time to warm up to you, when she feels safe to do so Arlo is the sweetest girl you will ever meet.

Would you like to make Arlo a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
