Arkham's Story
Look who's back! It's our good friend, Arkham, and she is still just as sweet and friendly as ever! She was returned to us because she had Severe Plasma Cell Stomatitis, and it wasn't something the folks who adopted her were in a position to deal with.

The result was that Arkham needed to have all of her teeth removed, and then she was treated with steroids and antibiotics. Now (as of August 27, 2026), she is finally off the medicine and the dietary restrictions, and feeling much more like herself again!

Unfortunately, during these past few months that she was back with us and we were taking care of her and getting her ready for surgery, the folks who adopted her simply got used to life without her in the home, and decided against bringing her back home.

So now, she is once again available and looking! She has no teeth left, but she is healthy and feeling good, and surprisingly, still has quite the appetite! If anyone out there is in need of a cuddlebuddy, please consider Arkham as a very good candidate to fill the position!

ORIGINAL POST BELOW

This is our new friend, Arkham, and she might look all dark and moody and brooding, but she is such a softie!

Arkham came to Quirky Cat Club after being dumped outside by her owner, and promptly scooped up by a concerned neighbor who tried to reason with the man to no avail. We have no clue as to why she was thrown away, because this little lady exudes love, and her affection is contagious! Some people just make no sense!

Arkham is a quiet snuggles and a warm lap cat who will happily trade you purrs and maybe even a little bit of happy drooling in exchange for butt scratches and belly rubs.

She is independent and curious when the mood strikes her to be playful. She doesn't ask for a lot, and doesn't take up too much space, and she is very clean. She is tolerant of other cats and will engage with them when encouraged, but Arkham is truly a people person at heart. In her ideal home, it would just be you and her!

Arkham is between 1 and 2 years old, vaccinated, fixed, and double negative
