Ariel's Story

Status: Available
Gender: female, spayed
Approximate age: 1 year

Likes: attention, toys, being in high places

Dislikes: Not being the center of attention

Personality: Ariel was one of the first cats from this intake to come to us for attention. She is very outgoing and brave! Loves people but can be a brat with some cats. She won't hurt other cats but she does boss them around when they are in any of her favorite spots. She loves to get up high so we expect her to jump up onto the fridge or cabinets in her future home. Overall, she does well with other cats and with kids. We are unsure how she will do in a home with dogs but she would likely adapt well due to her confident nature.

Background: Ariel was part of a massive intake from a home where the tenant was evicted. We were originally told there were only 12 cats but that number quickly climbed to over 20 after we started taking cats from the property. We are still actively trapping the shy cats. Ariel was one of the first cats we took in and she didn't need much socialization. After a day or two, she wanted her foster's attention.

Vetting done: spayed, rabies vaccine, full FVRCP series, combo test (neg), microchip, Rev+ and Pyrantel.

Concerns:
Medical: None
Behavioral: None

Location: Pawsitive Cat Cafe
115 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14604

Intake date: 6/21/26

Apply to adopt:
https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowrescue/adoption-application
