He was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina and arrived to Delaware Pet Rescue in search of a loving forever home! He is a character (as most orange cats are) and loves to explore and get in everyone's business. He is very soft and enjoys pets. He is good with the other cats and dogs at his foster home and gets along great with kids too. His favorite spot is lounging at the window and watching the birds. He's been enjoying this nice weather with the warm breeze coming in the screens. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *<br/><br/>DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:<br/>Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
