05/15/26 15:44 Recovering well from surgery but in need of foster care to provide needed PT post FHO surgery, shelter unable to provide, needing passive range of motion 2-3 times per day, encourage to walk and start to bear weight on affected limb . 05/04/26 18:25 FHO performed at shelter. Patient in need of urgent rescue for rehabilitation and physical therapy post-operatively. 4/15/2026 This cat is currently under the care of the San José Animal Services Center and is seeking rescue placement due to medical needs that exceed the shelter’s current capacity.<br/><br/> Diagnosed with right hip luxation requiring surgical intervention. This patient will need a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) to restore comfort and mobility.<br/><br/> Due to current capacity constraints and resource limitations, the shelter is unable to perform the required orthopedic surgery.
