April (Aka Walnut)'s Story

***Please note April is in foster care and will be brought to the Lounge for approved applicants**** April originally came to our rescue when he was 10 weeks old with her mama and siblings from Tijuana. She was adopted with her sibling, Franklin, but unfortunately their guardian is no longer able to provide for them due to changes in circumstances. Though Franklin and April are not bonded and can go to separate homes, we'd love to keep them together if we can. April, an orange-and-white sweetheart, is a social butterfly with a big personality and an even bigger appetite. She loves making new friends, chasing her ribbon toy, working treats out of her treat ball, and being part of the action. Curious, playful, and affectionate, she is always ready to engage with people and her surroundings. April and Franklin enjoy each other's company, often playing together, grooming one another, or settling in for quiet time. They are comfortable companions who bring out the best in each other while maintaining their own distinct personalities.
