Apricot's Story

Apricot is a sweet and spunky girl who loves to play and rub herself against your legs (any body part will do, actually). Her favorite pastimes include laying next to you while vigorously purring, making biscuits on thick blankets, slow blinking at you from across the room, chirping at birds through the window, receiving head and cheek scratches, giving you licks and gentle love bites (which sometimes turn into gentle play initiation bites -- she's still learning how to interact with humans/express herself), eating breakfast and dinner, playing tag, playing with her wand toy, playing with her mice toys, and hunting bugs. Sometimes she will sleep in the crook of your legs at night, and other times she will be keeping an eye on the neighborhood while you slumber. She's a really friendly girl who is hoping to find a forever home with another cat she can play with!!

DOB: December 23, 2023

Ready to make Apricot part of your family forever? Fishtails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Fishtails Animal Rescue strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stress of changing environments can lower an animal’s immunity to fight disease and the pet could harbor an infection without displaying symptoms. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal. Any pet adopted out by Fishtails Animal Rescue will be up-to-date on vaccines (unless medically contraindicated), microchipped, spayed/neutered (if age appropriate*), and given a dose of flea/heartworm preventative. The microchip must be registered by the adopter to their new information. *If the animal is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will do so within 2 months after the animal reaches 6 months of age. In addition, if pet is under 16 weeks at the time of adoption, adopter is responsible for boosters for vaccines. Fishtails Animal Rescues is located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts applications within the tri-state area. The first step in our adoption process is to complete the adoption application found on our website. Applications are reviewed within 72 hours of submissions. Please contact the rescue directly at info@farsaves.com with any questions.
