Appalatia and Andes's Story

Appalatia and Andes are a bonded pair of girls, and we are really hoping to find them a home where they can stay together. Andes is a beautiful fawn-coloured tabby. Appalatia is a torbie (tabby plus tortie), in that it looks like she might have some orange colouring in her tabby fur. Both of these kitties love to cuddle and play with each other and the other cats in their foster home.

These youngsters were rescued with a group of other cats at a feeding station located in a rural community outside of the city. Their initial wariness soon gave way to their more friendly demeanor, where they have blossomed into gentle and affectionate kitties. And they are still quite young, guestimated to be between 1-2 years old, so they obsessed with their toys and delighting in cuddles with each
other, the other cats in the home, and their foster mom.

Appalatia and Andes have each been spayed, vaccinated, tested (negative) for disease, microchipped and treated for parasites. "All fixed", so we like to say. They have been busting out in good health from Day 1.

We are looking to find the girls a quiet home with mature adults, which will ease the transition and build on the confidence they have developed since their capture. We ask for a minimum of $250 for each of our rescued cats, which is $500 for both, and you would receive their vet record and a charitable tax donation for the donated amount.

The girlies are being fostered at a home near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

We would ask that interested parties complete our online adoption application in full, which can be found via the following link: https://www.catsinhalifax.ca/adoptions

The direct link to the application form is found here: https://www.catsinhalifax.ca/adoption-application

Thanks for your interest!

Please adopt, don’t shop!
