Anouk's Story

Francais suit:

Anouk is a delightful cat. She is affectionate, playful and charming. She would love to be adopted with her sister Anais if someone is looking for a pair of cats. She is comfortable around the two large dogs in her foster home.
Anouk loves: cuddles, all the toys, helping you clean the litter box.

The adoption process starts with adopters filling out the adoption application. After a phone call, if everything looks good, then we will set up a visit in the cat's foster home. If we all feel good about the adoption then you can pick up the cat as soon as the next day or if it's one of my kittens then once they are 12 weeks old. For kittens, we give priority to people who want to adopt two siblings together or who already have a cat at home. However, more independent kittens can be adopted solo as long as someone is home much of the time.
Our adoption fee is 350$ and that covers all food and vet care while they are in foster. Kittens will need a booster vaccine about 4 weeks after their adoption (no later than 6 weeks after their initial vaccine received while in foster) and that is paid by the adopter at the vet of their choice. Adult cats are already sterilized. Kittens are sterilized and microchipped at around 6 or 7 months of age at the SPCA Mittens clinic on Jean Talon. The cost of the sterilization and microchip are covered by the adoption fee. We will send you a table to fill out and you must email it directly to the SPCA Mittens clinic with our rescue in cc. The clinic will contact you directly, often by phone so please check your voice messages, to give you a date for the appointment. You will need to inform us of the date of your appointment so that we can e-transfer the funds to pay for the sterilization and microchip.
Cats adopted from us must be indoor only and declawing is illegal and prohibited.
