Annie - Owner Passed - Needs New Home

We are looking for a loving new chapter for Annie, a sweet senior cat whose beloved owner recently passed away. Annie is understandably going through a transition. Her life has been forever changed, but we are hoping to help her find a new home with someone that will shower her with love.<br/><br/>This adorable girl is approximately 18 years of age. Annie has only known the companionship of her previous owner and will require a patient, gradual adjustment period when moving into a new environment because she will be processing unfamiliar scents, spaces and routines.<br/>Unfortunately, the owner’s son is not able to take Annie due to his commitment to his own dog and senior cat, but he has been dropping in several times a day to spend time with her. She is warming up and enjoying the daily visits. This is what he has to say:<br/><br/>Annie will be sitting on the couch when I arrive most times and she has no problem now with me sitting next to her and also petting her. She is actually enjoying me petting her a lot lately now and she even rubs her face on mine. She's eating well and comes right away for her wet food at dinner time and will even meow to let you know it is her dinner time haha<br/><br/>If anyone can find it in their heart to open their home to this precious girl and take a day at a time to see where her new chapter takes her, please contact us.
