Her hair was missing, her ears were bleeding, and she was covered in scabs from head to toe. Every inch of this petite little girl seemed to hurt. <br/><br/>But that was MONTHS ago.<br/><br/>Today, Annie is showing us what happens when a cat finally gets the chance to heal, feel safe, and discover that life can actually be good. <br/><br/>As her body recovered, so did her spirit. And now that Annie is feeling like a million bucks, she has decided she has a very important job... finding HER people.<br/><br/>Annie does have days when visitors make her feel a little unsure, so she may hang off to the side and watch everything from a distance. But when she sees someone she thinks could be her family? Oh, she tries SO hard to show them what a special girl she is.<br/><br/>You can’t pick Annie up, but when she comes looking for pets, she PUSHES her little face into your hand with so much enthusiasm you might worry she’s going to hurt herself! She wants affection. She wants connection. She wants someone to choose her.<br/><br/>And honestly... we think she deserves that more than most.<br/><br/>Because not long ago, Annie looked like a cat people would walk right past.<br/><br/>Now? She looks almost perfect. She just has a little more healing to do — and a whole lot of love waiting to happen. <br/><br/>Annie is petite, about 2 years old, and she has a slightly wobbly back end, possibly from an old injury. But don’t let that fool you... this girl can RUN THE ROOM when her toys come out! She plays like the kitten she never got the chance to be.<br/><br/>She does fine with the other cats in the shelter and an older family would be best. <br/><br/>Annie survived the streets. She survived pain.
