Annie's Story

Hi, I’m Annie. I was rescued from the Seal Beach Jetty along with my friend Mercedes way back in 2015. We both went to a foster home for a couple of months and slowly learned to trust humans. Then we came back to SBACC and after a while, we were both adopted by a volunteer.<br/>Sadly, Mercedes crossed over the Rainbow Bridge a while ago and I lost my home because my adopter couldn't interact with me. I am very shy and don't allow petting or handling. I'm comfortable here and wouldn’t mind living out my senior years where I'm loved and cared for by a wonderful team of volunteers and staff. Maybe if the right person came along, I could adjust to a new home, but after all this time at SBACC, it feels like home.
