She loves to stretch out in warm patches of light, watching the world go by and enjoying the simple comforts of a peaceful day.<br/><br/>When Annabelle first arrived at HART, she was under-socialized and fearful of people. With the gentle guidance of our Shy Angels Socialization Team, she has made wonderful progress and continues to grow more confident all the time. She especially loves Churu treats, which have helped her learn that good things come from trusting relationships. Annabelle also enjoys playtime (the laser pointer is a particular favorite) and she now welcomes brushing and is beginning to accept gentle pets from the people she knows and trusts.<br/><br/>Annabelle gets along with her feline roommates, though she tends to keep to herself and prefers a quieter, more independent lifestyle. She would do best in a calm home with no children, and will need an experienced adopter who understands that building trust takes patience, space, and consistency so she can continue to thrive and be the amazing girl she truly is.<br/><br/>With time and understanding, Annabelle will continue to blossom into a devoted companion.
