Annabelle's Story

Annabelle is one of the kittens in our "cow litter" because her mom is a sweet black and white kitty who came to us with her newborn litter in May. Annabelle was raised with her litter mates by her mom until she was almost 14 weeks old so she has wonderful manners. Annabelle is a bit shy around new people at first so a home with an experienced cat owner is preferred.

All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $80 (cash only).

A few of our cats are available to meet in our Adoption Center at PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the ADOPT tab to see their pictures.

The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. To get one you can:
1. Complete one on-line at https://www.adoptapet.com/pawsok/adoption-request/
2. Request one via e-mail at: pawsokrescue@gmail.com, or
3. Pick one up at PetSmart.

Adoption Requests take 2-4 days to process and initial contact with the potential adopter should the board have additional questions will likely be via e-mail. PAWS-OK fosters may also reach out to you via phone for an interview. The whole family needs to be present at the interview / adoption because some cats don't like everyone and we want to ensure that the whole family (cat included) is happy with the adoption.

Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!
