Annabella, a serene, well-mannered, 12-year-old sweetheart delights in sitting on laps and having her plush coat brushed to perfection. She is a friendly, attentive companion who will follow you to your chair, waiting patiently to be picked up and pampered. She also enjoys many other simple pleasures such as stretching out in a patch of sunshine, sleeping on a windowsill or curling up on a soft blanket.<br/>Annabella is comfortable meeting new people and is happy to let visitors brush her. She thoroughly enjoys her food and although she was slightly overweight when first rescued, she has successfully trimmed down to a perfect, healthy weight. <br/>Like many other senior cats her age, Annabella has early kidney disease, which at this stage is being managed with adequate water intake. In addition, Annabella's close up eyesight is very poor. She has gotten to know her foster's home and can now easily navigate to her food bowl, litter box and favorite perching spots just fine. Whoever adopts her will need to be aware of her visual limitations and have the patience to help her adjust to a new environment.<br/>This sweet lady thrives on human companionship and seeks a household with someone who is home often to give her the attention and affection she deserves. Annabella needs to be a solo pet since her compatibility with other animals is unknown
