ANGUS's Story

It's hard to miss him in our Cat Adopt room. He's very vocal and demands to be seen! This handsome, 10-year-old gentleman craves attention and affection so badly, he'll often rub his head on his water bowl, kennel door, and anything else within reach. When his kennel door is open, Angus thinks it's time to go home! He'll climb right out onto a person and fully expects them to get him out of here. After two months in a kennel, Angus is ready to stretch out in a home where he can live out his golden years! Don't tell him we told you this, but there's still some work to be done before he's given the green light to go home. Angus is waiting for his neuter and a dental, but he'd love to have an adopter ready and waiting for him when he's cleared to leave! Is that you? Stop in, meet Angus today, and put your name and number down for him! His adoption fee has been paid for by a generous donor. All he needs now is YOU! : Angus came to us as a stray, so we don't know how he feels about dogs. We recommend slow introductions. : Angus may do well with older children who are respectful to cats. : We're not sure if Angus has lived with other cats before. We recommend slow introductions. : Angus is 10 years old and weighs a little over 8 pounds. He is FIV+, meaning he has a weaker immune system, but this does not affect his lifespan nor require any medication. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, so as long as they get along, FIV+ cats can successfully live with FIV- cats without spreading the virus. At the time of adoption, Angus will come neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. : Come meet Angus in our Cat Adopt room at 13011 Maugansville Road in Hagerstown, MD! See less
