Angus's Story

We all have had to make a pivot in our lives, and our sweet Angus is no exception. When Angus first came into our sphere, the idea was for him to be TNR - trapped, neutered, and released. It didnt take long to realize that Angus is not a cat who can live on the streets. He is simply too sweet and affectionate to be out in the great wide world- he needs the safety, comfort, and love of a home.

And what a difference a little time and patience have made! Angus has completely come out of his shell since arriving at the sanctuary. Every morning, this handsome boy rushes over to greet our volunteers, eagerly seeking gentle snuggles and affection. He has adjusted wonderfully to our quieter kitty room and has truly blossomed into a loving companion.

At 3 years old and a solid almost 16 pounds, Angus is ready for a family of his own. He would be perfectly happy as an only cat, soaking up all the attention for himself, but he could also do well with other gentle, easygoing kitties in a calm home. Angus is front declawed, making an indoor-only home especially important for his safety and well-being.

Angus has also:

Tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV;
Received his vaccinations;
Been treated for fleas and worms; and
Had a negative fecal test.

The balance of his vaccinations is included in our adoption plan.

Our big boy has come so far, and now all he needs is a home to call his own. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will happily greet you each day, Angus may be the perfect match. Give this big boy the loving home he deserves and fill out an application today!

https://www.catsanctuaryashland.org/adoption-application
