Andromeda's Story
Gender: Spayed, Female
Age: 8 months
Intake date: 3/5/26

Personality: If you just look at Andromeda, she will start purring. She's shy at first but loves to be pet once she realizes that you are safe to be around. She still has kitten energy and loves to play with toys and her feline-friends. She came to us with her momma Galaxy and her sister Nebula. Galaxy has been adopted and the sisters are not bonded so they can be adopted separately. Andromeda would do well in a quieter home.

Around other cats: Great with other cats!

Around dogs: Unknown but would likely be ok with a slow and proper introduction

Around kids: Does ok with kids at the cat cafe

Background: Galaxy, Andromeda and Nebula were living on the streets being fed by a kind and caring caretaker. He loved them but was unable to care for them on his own. When he needed to be placed in hospice care, his family members reached out for help. Rockats were able to get them spayed and we were able to help socialize them and look for a forever home. Rockats primarily focuses on TNR (trap, neuter, release) so that is why Andromeda's ear is "tipped." When they realized they were friendly, they asked us to take them in.

Vetting done: Spayed, FVRCP vaccine series completed, Rabies vaccinated, combo test (neg/neg), microchipped, dewormed.

Concerns:
Medical: None

Behavioral: None

Location: Scratching Post Cat Cafe
Address: 3180 Latta Rd. Suite 200, Rochester, NY 14612

Adopt: https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowrescue/adoption-application
