Unlike his namesake, this Andrew B. Bernard has no interest in international trade and economics. All he cares about, besides playing with his toys, is finding a forever home! Andrew is one year of age and came to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter as a stray. He is a bit timid upon meeting new people and is looking for a patient person who will give him time to acclimate to a new home. An adult-only home or one with older children would be best for him. Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
