Anchovy's Story

Anchovy, born in early April, is an active kitten who plays hard then sleeps like a rock...so much so that he doesn't even wake up when his siblings chew on his whiskers (they are very short!). His favorite activity is climbing the cat tree then leaping onto the adjacent upholstered chair, landing with a bounce. His siblings have tried to do it, but he is definitely the master. Anchovy runs to his foster mom for attention and loves to snuggle her neck. He's a big fan of wand toys and spring toys. He's a great little guy! Anchovy should have a feline friend for companionship.<br/><br/>Anchovy is neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.<br/><br/>!!! It is the policy of Desert Paws Rescue that all potential cat adopters complete a Cat Adoption Consultation Form and an interview with a Desert Paws representative in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens. Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
