Amos's Story

This handsome older gentleman will make a wonderful companion! He is a big boy with an even bigger heart!

He was at Antrim County Animal Control for a while after his owner passed away and was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately, the other cat in the home was not accepting of him and he was reluctantly returned to the shelter after a short time. Help From My Friends' Pet Crisis Center had seen him at the shelter and couldn't offer him help at the time, but when we visited months later, we recognized his beautiful green eyes peering out of his cage, pleading for another chance at a furever home! We scooped this sweet boy up, knowing how special he is, in hopes of finding him a wonderful place to spend the rest of his golden years.

Amos will be the best company for someone looking for a mellow, affectionate, and moderately playful boy. He is tolerant of other cats and dogs whose demeanor is as calm as his, but would be happiest in as an only cat. He would do best in a quiet home and older children, and is fully vetted and awaiting the next part of his life!

Interested in Amos?
