Amore is a beautiful 3-month-old calico with a gentle heart that's still learning the world is a safe place. She was rescued from the desert with her mom and siblings and was understandably very shy when she first arrived.<br/><br/>She can still be a little skittish and may hiss if she's startled, but don't let that fool you-Amore has never swatted or bitten. In fact, once she's picked up, she completely melts into your arms, settles into your lap, and purrs with contentment. It's her way of saying she's learning to trust.<br/><br/>Amore is looking for a patient, loving family who will let her confidence continue to grow at her own pace.<br/><br/>Because kittens thrive with feline companionship, Amore must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat or be adopted with another cat or kitten.<br/><br/>Amore is located at the Petco cattery in Temecula.
