Amelia's Story
Amelia came to us with a rough upper respiratory infection and a litter of three kittens experiencing the same. Though she had milk and seemed to have been nursing prior to being found, by the time she came to us her kittens had stopped nursing entirely and needed assistance eating, despite being of weaning age. While her kittens are taking quite a while to recover, she bounced back quickly herself and is now happy and healthy and ready to find a new home with someone to take care of her as well as she took care of her sick babies. Even now she regularly takes time to groom them when together and is a delightful presence, always wanting to be out and about to mingle with people.
