Thea is one of those cats.<br/><br/>This stunning white princess, with one sparkling blue eye and one beautiful green eye, is as gentle and loving as they come. She adores people, enjoys quiet companionship, and asks for nothing more than a soft place to nap, gentle pets, and someone to love.<br/><br/>Sadly, Thea has been diagnosed with a severe congenital heart condition. She has a 6/6 heart murmur caused by a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) that has progressed to congestive heart failure. She takes daily heart medications to help keep her comfortable, but there is no cure for her condition.<br/><br/>Because of her diagnosis, Thea is considered a hospice adoption. That means we simply don't know how much time she has. It could be six months. It could be several years. Her veterinarians can't predict the future—they can only tell us that every day she has is a gift.<br/><br/>What we do know is this: she deserves to spend every one of those days in a home, not a rescue.<br/><br/>Thea is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can be the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention she has waited so patiently to receive.
