Alvin (as in Alvin the chipmunk) is a 4-year-old male domestic shorthair available for adoption at CCHS! Alvin was originally found as a kitten in a dumpster outside of a Panera Bread. His is a sweet and loving chonk of a boy. He will calmly sit on your lap and purr - the perfect lapcat, honestly! Clocking in at nearly 20lbs, this big boy needs to lose a bit of weight in order to be his most happy and healthy self. He did well living with dogs in his previous home, and Alvin is on a prescription urinary care diet. Come meet Alvin at CCHS!<br/><br/>Alvin is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! The first time I met Alvin, a staff member was seated on a stool and Alvin was contentedly snuggling on their lap, not a care in the world, completely unbothered. Mind you, he takes up a lot of lap real estate. Clocking in at just over 18lbs, this big, white boy is the perfect weighted blanket. He has lost a few pounds since being in our care, and we are cheering him on! Alvin is very calm and chill, and would make a great companion for someone who wants a cat who, at 4 years old, is coming into his prime."
