Althea (ALLY)'s Story

💔 Althea is waiting for the people she loves to come back.

And we feel her confusion.

She waits...

“Daddy, will you give me my treat tonight? Will you let me curl up on your lap while you rock me and pet me?”

“Mommy, will you rub my shoulders and my leg at bedtime, like you always did when we all went to sleep?”

Where are you? 💔🐈‍⬛

These are the little routines Althea shared with the family who loved her. And they did love her. Sometimes circumstances happen that have nothing to do with how much an animal is loved, and Althea has found herself back with us.

For a shy, sensitive girl like Althea, losing the home where she finally felt safe is especially hard.

When we first met her, she was cautious and unsure. We watched her slowly learn to trust, and then we watched her blossom in her home. She discovered what it felt like to be someone's girl—to have a lap waiting for her, bedtime rubs, treats from Dad, and people she trusted completely.

Now we want to give her that again.

Althea is a beautiful, medium-haired black kitty who may not give her heart away the moment she meets you. But when she decides you are her person, she loves deeply.

We don't want Althea to spend weeks or months wondering where her family went. We want her next chapter to begin as soon as possible.

Someone out there can show this sweet girl that losing one home doesn't mean she'll never feel safe and loved again.

Please help us find Althea the forever that really is forever. 🐈‍⬛❤️

Coastal Cat Rescue

Althea was deeply loved in her last home. Sadly, sometimes circumstances change, even when the love doesn’t. Her owner is heartbroken, and we believe Althea is too.

Now this sweet girl has to start over.

We desperately hope she doesn’t have to wait long. Althea doesn’t need perfection. She needs someone patient enough to let her settle in, gentle enough to earn her trust, and committed enough to show her that this time, forever really does mean forever.

There is such a loving girl underneath that uncertainty. We’ve seen her blossom before, and we know she will again. She just needs someone willing to give her that second chance.

🐾 Could you be Althea’s forever this time?

Please share. Somewhere out there is the person, couple, or family who can mend this beautiful girl’s heart. 🖤
