ALICE's Story

Little Alice is a very special girl! When Alice came to us, she was only about 6 weeks old and we were not sure if she was going to make it. For a while there we even thought she would loose an eye. She needed medications for an upper respiratory and eye infections. Life was not kind to her living on the streets. Yet Alice grew healthier and healthier every day in our care. And even though she learned to trust people it was difficult for her to be receiving constant eye drops and oral meds, which made her a little cautious whenever we would approach. She didn't understand it was for her own good. Socially, she overcame all of that and although she is still a little shy at first, she actually loves people and once she is comfortable, she likes to lay next to you and purr and nuzzle at your side. Alice is super playful and agile! She jumps so high for her feather teaser and toys! This little house Panther is pretty confident when people come around and doesn't go hiding at all. Due to the complications from her kittenhood Alice's tear ducts sometimes tend to get blocked and she appears to look teary-eyed. But this does not affect her overall health! She is still an amazing girl that deserves a great home with a family that will be patient with her when she is a little shy at first, and one that will be understanding that she had a rough past but has so much love to give! Born 1/1/24
