Alfie's Story
Meet Alfie from our Peaky Blinder's litter!

Aflie is also one of the larger kittens from his litter. He has a long hair black coat with silver tabby points and silver undercoat. He is one of the calmest of his litter and likes to hang back and observe. This litter has been around dogs but not children.

They were born in our care but their feral mom did test positive for FIV. The kittens should be retested in 6-8 months as many kittens are able to clear the virus from maternal exposure (they may actually be negative).

****FIV+ cats can live a long asymptomatic life into their teen years. FIV is a cat-only virus (does not transmit to humans or dogs). The virus can weaken the immune system over time slowing their ability to rebound from basic infections. Transmission of FIV is only through blood so spayed indoor cats are extremely low risk for transmission of the virus to housemates. FIV cats should be kept indoors to prevent spreading the virus via fighting with outdoor cats.

The entire litter has been
- spayed/neutered
- tested negative for FELV (more dangerous virus than FIV)
- microchipped
- vaccinated to date
- parasite treated.

Adoption fees are $75 each or $100 for 2.

Meet them at our clinic:
Smoky Mountain Animal Clinic
120 Baldwin Way
Seymour TN 37865
865-577-4861
Mon-Fri 8-4pm
