Alexandria bonded with Maxine's Story

Alexandria is super bonded with her sister Maxine. They cry if they can't see each other.

They were born 9/7/2025. Their mom is in the one photo, her name is Bean. Beans owner was sent to the hospital for long term care and Bean was surrendered to a friend. The friend didn't know Bean was pregnant until she arrived home one day and found her with 2 kittens in her closet. She was not equipped to deal with mom and kittens. So Silver Lake Animal Rescue League took them in.

They arrived and immediately had to go the vet, due to watery stools and weight loss. They had Coccidia and bacterial infections. They required immediate medication and fluids. After treatment, the kittens and momma Bean started thriving and growing!

The girls are so playful and constantly on the move. They love to climb, run, jumping and investigate new things. The feather wand toys don't last long. Fuzzy mice are easy prey for these two.

Maxine was the runt but has grown faster than Alexandria now. She is also more snugglly than her sister. She loves to be held like a baby and get snuggles where Alexandria just loves pets and is not so much into being held like a baby. She will lay down next to you and let you pet her for extended periods of time.

These two are sure to keep you entertained for years to cone, while also being super affectionate.

Starting them off in a small space and spending time, bonding with them first will be key to building a life long bond.
