Alex's Story

Alex was found all alone as a stray during the first week of June. No one knows what happened to the rest of his family, but Alex was skinny and scared, so he was taken to the vet immediately, where medicine and food perked him right up.
In the weeks since being found, he has discovered that a soft bed and regular meals agree with him quite nicely.
Alex has an insatiable desire to play and chase. String, a ball, cat toys or your shoelaces are all fair game. He will play for as long as you have the energy to do so. He also loves to sleep next to or on his person, and he will purr himself to sleep, resting close for as long as you are willing.
For a kitten so small, Alex is already great at some things. First, he knows that the warmest and best snuggle spots are in his people's arms or on their shoulders. When he is ready to rest, he will seek out one of these spots first. He is an extra cuddly kitten.
Second, he is litter box trained and is very good at being contained at night time. In his foster home he sleeps in a separate, empty room at night and he sleeps well and doesn't cry or try to get out.
Third, he is very interested in making kitty friends. So far his foster cat brothers have no interest in him, but he's not giving away his shot to make some kitty friends.
If you're looking for a playful, sweet, snuggly, and high energy new kitten friend, you should meet Alexander. Theres a million things he hasn't done, just you wait.
