Alex's Story
If you would like an application or have any questions, please send an email to us at:
info@ht-ac.org

Alex was rescued from the basement of an apartment building in Hartford, where she was abandoned by her owner, who had nowhere to live. She is currently in a foster home in Glastonbury.
Alex has had a rough first 2 years of life, and yet somehow she is still the most friendly and confident little girl. She may be a tripod (her right hind leg is missing), but she has all the zoomies, leaps, pounces, and jumps of any four-legged cat. She is super talkative, and loves to tell you all about her day. She is always excited to see her person and get in a few good headbutts, neck scritches, and some very loud purrs. Her must-haves include a window seat, a squishy cat bed for serious biscuit making, and a person of her very own. Due to her previous life as a vulnerable street kitty, she does not react well to other animals and should be an only pet.
Alex is 2 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her adoption fee is $200.
