DCHS staff member Ariel says, "Alejandro is just the sweetest! He was scared and shy and would hide at first, but has really come around and enjoys all the pets and love. When cleaning, he likes to stretch out and lay in your lap (which really makes continuing to work hard!)"Want to know more? Please call us! We've found that back and forth via email regarding a specific animal is not always effective and quick because our email is not monitored on a regular basis. So, for specific information regarding this wonderful pet, please contact one of our adoption counselors at (715) 232-9790. Our facility is appointment only, and if you are interested in adopting one of our companion pets, then you must fill out an online application. Once our Adoption Counselors have received your application, they will follow-up with you to learn more about your lifestyle, living situation, and what you are looking for in a pet! Then our Adoption Counselors will schedule a time for you to come to our facility and visit with the pets. The whole process can take 2-7 days depending on your schedule and our staff resources, and we offer appointments every day of the week.
