Albert's Story

Albert is a handsome dark brown tabby with extra toes on all four paws and an incredibly sweet disposition. At 12 years old, he came to HART through no fault of his own. Understandably, he was sad and confused when he first arrived, but he has since settled in and his loving personality has truly blossomed.

Albert is a gentle boy who adores human attention, catnip toys, and cozy spots high in a cat tree where he can keep an eye on the room while hoping for some pets and affection. He has a calm, affectionate nature and enjoys spending time with the people he trusts.

Like many senior cats, Albert has a few medical needs. He has chronic eye discharge, a sensitive digestive system, and some indicators that he may develop kidney issues in the future. He is currently doing well with a simple management routine that includes a once-daily medication, subcutaneous fluids a few times a week, and a limited-ingredient duck diet. Because of these ongoing medical needs, our Medical Team requires that Albert be adopted into an experienced home with an established veterinary relationship.

Albert is a truly special boy who would thrive in a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by comfort and care. Come meet this wonderful cat in Room 1 - he just might melt your heart. ❤️ 🐾

Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!

***FKA = Formerly Known As
